ADF Usage Guide
Auto Lead Data Format (ADF) is an open XML-based standard for communicating consumer email and purchase requests to automotive dealerships. This standard enables dealers to centrally manage all of their Internet leads, whether those leads originate from an online car shopping service, a manufacturer's website, or the dealer's own site.
Although there is a standard for communicating this information, parts of the specification are open to interpretation. The document below gives an overview of how LeadDriver Trade-In uses the ADF 1.0 XML specification. In particular, it identifies which values go into which tags in the XML.
If a lead does not seem to parse correctly or enter into your Lead Management and/or CRM system correctly, one factor may be the way the ADF is interpreted by your Lead Management and/or CRM vendor. This document should help clarify the usage by LeadDriver Trade-In so your Lead Management and/or CRM vendor can map fields appropriately.
